Vladimir Davidenko

Scrapes and memories

Davidenko's works arose from recording his personal spiritual and psychological life experiences influenced by the sea and the coast. The author’s expression is concentrated on his childhood memories, exploration of his personal surroundings and its immediate occurrences, as well as some random (and intentional) encounters. Looking almost like flashbacks, he paints joyful moments in which sea plays a major part – beach rests, relaxed body floating on the sea surface, or a playful jump into the deep blue. Rare figurations show people – scrapes, as the author calls them, who scraped him and left a piece of their consciousness in his life.
