We are truly honoured and grateful to be included in the Michelin Guide for the best hotel selection in Croatia and the World for 2024. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to excellence. We have been listed among the 34 best hotels in Croatia and 5300 of the World’s luxury boutique hotels recommended by Michelin.
Michelin has long been known for its restaurant ratings, where establishments are awarded one to three Michelin stars for excellence. It awarded its first stars in 1926, and Michelin is now embarking on a new journey with its ‘Key’ rating system. “Just as a Michelin star honours restaurants at the pinnacle of their craft, the Michelin Key recognizes the most exceptional hotels worldwide,” says Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide.
The Michelin Guide aims to direct customers to hotels that stand out in all areas: architectural design, expertise, and possessing a genuine, distinctive personality. We are pleased that Michelin’s inspectors have recognized that Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel meets all five fundamental criteria: contributing to the destination experience, excellence in interior design and architecture, personality and authenticity, quality, comfort and consistency in service and maintenance, and a balance between the experience offered and the price.
